MP3 ID3 Tag Editor (Title, Artist, Album)
Edit the title, artist, album, year, and genre embedded in an MP3 file, then download the updated file. Cover art editing is not supported for now.
How It Works
An MP3 file can contain metadata (ID3 tags) displayed by audio players: title, artist, album, year, genre. The tool reads this information directly from the file, lets you edit it in the fields above, then rewrites the MP3 file with the new values without touching the audio content itself.
Can I edit the album cover art?
No, not for now. This tool only edits text fields (title, artist, album, year, genre); it neither reads nor modifies any cover art embedded in the file. If your MP3 already has cover art, it is simply left as-is.
What happens if I leave a field empty?
Leaving a field empty removes the corresponding tag from the output file (for example, clearing the Album field removes the album information from the MP3). You can therefore either correct a value or delete an existing tag.
Is the original audio file modified?
No, only the metadata changes. The MP3's quality and audio content remain strictly identical; only a new downloadable file is generated.
100% local processing: reading and writing tags happens entirely in your browser via WebAssembly — your file is never sent to a server.
