Loop an Audio Clip

Repeat a WAV file end-to-end a number of times to create a longer loop. Works only with 16-bit PCM WAV files.

Drag and drop one or more files here, or click to browse.

How It Works

Have a short sound clip — an ambient effect, a musical note, a sound effect — and need it to last longer to cover a video or animation? This tool concatenates the file with itself as many times as you specify, creating a longer file that repeats the original clip identically, without quality loss.

Is the generated loop perfectly smooth, with no audible cut?

The transition depends entirely on the source file: if the beginning and end of your clip already flow naturally (same sound level, no abrupt silence), the loop will be seamless. Otherwise, a slight click may be audible at each repeat — in that case, consider adding a fade first with our audio fade in/out tool.

What is the limit on the number of repeats?

You can repeat a clip up to 100 times in a single operation, which is more than enough for most uses (ambient music, test loop, extended sound effect).

100% local processing: loop generation happens entirely in your browser via WebAssembly — your audio is never sent to a server.
