How It Works

Under the micro-entrepreneur scheme, social security contributions are calculated by applying a fixed percentage to your collected turnover, regardless of your actual expenses. This tool applies the rate corresponding to your type of activity, then adds the flat-rate income tax payment if applicable, to estimate the total amount withheld and the net income that remains for you.

What contribution rates are used?

The rates applied here are those of the current standard scale: 12.3% for the sale of goods, catering, and accommodation; 21.2% for commercial or artisanal service activities (BIC); and 21.1% for liberal (professional) service activities (BNC). Certain special situations (ACRE in the first year, activities under CIPAV, overseas departments) use different rates not covered by this calculator.

What is the flat-rate income tax payment (versement libératoire)?

It is an option that allows you to pay your income tax at the same time as your social security contributions, in the form of an additional percentage of your turnover, instead of the standard progressive tax scale calculation. It is only available if your household's reference tax income does not exceed a certain threshold, revised each year.

This calculator provides a simplified estimate for guidance only: it does not take your full tax situation into account (other income, eligibility ceilings, minimum contributions) and is no substitute for advice from an accountant or URSSAF for your actual filings.

The calculation is done entirely in your browser: your turnover is never sent to a server.
