How it works
To estimate a realistic timeline (delivery, processing a file, a withdrawal period), weekend days and public holidays generally don't count. This tool goes through every calendar day between your two dates, automatically excludes Saturdays and Sundays, and also removes the dates you list as holidays.
Why do I have to enter the holidays myself?
Public holidays depend on the country, the region, and sometimes specific collective agreements, and some (like Easter) change date every year. Rather than setting a fixed list that would be wrong for some users, this tool lets you specify precisely the holiday dates relevant to your situation.
What does the "include start and end dates" option change?
Depending on the context, sometimes the starting day is counted (for example the day a letter is sent) and sometimes only the following days are. This option lets you choose whether both entered dates should be included in the total or only serve as boundaries.
