How it works
Clothing sizes do not follow the same numbering from one country to another: a women's EU 38 corresponds to US 6 and UK 10, which often causes confusion when buying on a foreign website or packing for a trip abroad. This tool applies standard ready-to-wear conversion tables to instantly convert a size from one system to another.
Are these equivalences universal?
No. The tables used here reflect the most common equivalences in general ready-to-wear clothing, but each brand applies its own sizing: a size M from one store may correspond to a size S or L elsewhere. Use this result as a starting point and always check the brand's specific size guide before buying, especially for fitted clothing.
Why do men's and women's sizes have different tables?
The women's table applies to tops and dresses (even numbering from 32 to 52), while the men's table applies to jackets and suits, where the EU/UK/US size usually refers to the same chest measurement in centimeters divided by two. The two scales are therefore not interchangeable.
