Convert HTTP Request to cURL Command

Enter the method, URL, headers and body of your HTTP request: the tool instantly generates the equivalent curl command, ready to paste into a terminal or script.

Example:

How it works

Fill in the method, URL, headers, and body fields as you would in a graphical HTTP client (Postman, Insomnia...). The tool assembles this information into a valid curl command: the method is passed via -X (omitted for GET, curl's default behavior), each header via -H, and the body via -d. All values are escaped for a POSIX shell to prevent an apostrophe or special character from breaking the command.

Does the generated command work on Windows?

The command is escaped for a bash/zsh shell (macOS, Linux, WSL). On the classic Windows command prompt (cmd.exe) or PowerShell, single quotes are not interpreted the same way: replace them with double quotes or use PowerShell with the curl.exe alias.

Can I add multiple custom headers?

Yes, click "+ Add a header" as many times as needed. Lines with an empty name are simply ignored during generation.

No network request is made by this tool: the command is assembled entirely in your browser, and your headers or tokens are never sent to a third-party server.
