Custom CSS Cursor Generator
Turn an emoji or an image into a CSS mouse cursor, adjust its anchor point (hotspot), and test the rendering live before copying the code. 100% local processing in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
How it works
The CSS cursor property accepts an image (url(...)), an optional anchor point in pixels, and a fallback keyword used if the image fails to load. This tool encodes your emoji or image as a data URL directly in the browser, then composes the complete CSS declaration ready to paste into your stylesheet.
What is the anchor point (hotspot) for?
The anchor point defines exactly which pixel of the image corresponds to the click position. For a target- or arrow-shaped cursor, it's common to place the anchor at the center or tip of the image so the click occurs at the right visual spot.
Why do some browsers ignore my custom cursor?
Most browsers limit the size of custom cursors to about 128 pixels and fall back to the fallback cursor if the image is too heavy or in an unsupported format; use a lightweight square image (PNG or SVG) and a reasonable size for reliable rendering across all browsers.
Neither your image nor your emoji are transmitted anywhere: all encoding happens locally, in your browser's memory.
