Find and replace rules for a CSV

Define multiple search-and-replace rules, applied to a specific column or to all columns of a CSV, using plain text or a regular expression.

Example:
Drag and drop a .csv here, or paste its content below. 25 MB max.

How it works

Great for cleaning up an export in one pass: standardize a spelling, remove stray characters, fix a product reference prefix... Add one or more rules, each targeting either all columns (with “*”) or a specific column by name, with a search value and a replacement value. Rules are applied in order, one after the other.

When should I use the “regex” option for a rule?

Enable it when the search value is not fixed text but a pattern, for example to remove all digits (“\d+”) or normalize several spacing variants (“\s{2,}”). For a simple word or an exact string, leave the option unchecked.

What happens if several rules overlap?

Rules are applied sequentially in the order of the list: the result of one rule serves as the input for the next rule. The order of the rules can therefore affect the final result if they concern similar patterns.

100% local processing: all rules are applied directly in your browser; your CSV file is never sent to a server.
