Format Numbers in a CSV Column

Format all numbers in a CSV column with a fixed number of decimals and a thousands separator, leaving non-numeric cells unchanged.

Example:
Drag and drop a .csv file here, or paste the content below.

How it works

Handy for making a price or quantity column presentable before sharing or printing, without having to manually reformat each cell in a spreadsheet. Specify the column, the desired number of decimals, and the thousands separator (for example a space or a comma), then generate the formatted CSV.

What happens to a cell that is not a number?

It is left strictly unchanged: only cells recognized as valid numbers are reformatted; text or empty cells are not affected.

Can I use a period as the thousands separator?

Yes, any character can be used as a thousands separator (space, comma, period, apostrophe...) — the decimal separator always remains a period in the result.
