CSV Pivot Table
Group the rows of a CSV by the value of one column and aggregate another column (sum, average, or count) — a mini pivot table without a spreadsheet program. 100% local processing in your browser (WebAssembly).
Or paste the CSV directly below (max 10 MB).
How it works
Great for quickly summarizing sales by city, expenses by category, or grades by student without opening Excel. Specify the column to use for grouping the rows, the column whose values you want to aggregate, and the desired aggregation type: a new two-column CSV is generated.
What happens if a cell in the column to aggregate is not a number?
For “sum” and “average” aggregations, cells that cannot be converted to a number are simply ignored in the calculation (but the row still counts for the “count” aggregation).
In what order do the groups appear in the result?
Groups are listed in the order of their first appearance in the original CSV, not in alphabetical or numerical order.
100% local processing: your CSV data never leaves your browser; the calculation is done entirely via WebAssembly.
