Rename CSV Columns

Paste or import a CSV file: its headers are detected automatically below, and you can enter a new name for each one. Columns that are not renamed and all data rows remain unchanged.

Example:

How it works

Typically useful before merging multiple CSV exports that don't share exactly the same column names (for example, a CRM export that uses “Email” where another export uses “e_mail” or “mail_address”). Paste your file, enter the new name you want for the relevant columns, then click “Rename columns”.

What happens if I leave a rename field empty?

The corresponding column keeps its original name. You only need to enter a new name for the columns you actually want to rename; all the others, as well as all data rows, remain unchanged.

Is the order of the columns changed?

No, only the column names change: their order in the file remains exactly as in the original header.

Processing is entirely local, done in your browser via WebAssembly: your CSV file never leaves your computer.
