Convert CSV to LaTeX table

Paste CSV data and get the code for a LaTeX table (tabular) right away, with special characters escaped automatically. 100% local processing (WebAssembly).

How it works

Writing a scientific paper or report in LaTeX often means converting a spreadsheet export (CSV) into a tabular table. This tool parses the CSV, automatically escapes LaTeX special characters (like &, %, or _) that would otherwise break compilation, and generates a table ready to paste directly into your document.

Why do characters like & or % cause problems in LaTeX?

In LaTeX, certain characters have special meaning: & separates the columns of a table, % starts a comment, $ opens math mode. If they appear as-is in your data (for example "Dupont & Sons"), compilation fails or produces incorrect output; they must be escaped with a backslash, which this tool does automatically.

Does the generated table require a special LaTeX package?

No, the tabular environment is natively available in standard LaTeX; just wrap the result in \begin{table}...\end{table} if you want a caption or a float.

100% local processing: your CSV data is converted directly in your browser via WebAssembly, never sent to a server.
