Dice roller (2d6+3 notation)
Roll dice from classic tabletop RPG notation like 2d6+3 (two 6-sided dice, plus a +3 modifier), and get the breakdown of each roll along with the total.
How it works
In tabletop role-playing games, dice rolls are written with a compact notation like 2d6+3: "2d6" means roll two 6-sided dice, and "+3" is a modifier added to the result. This tool parses that notation, simulates the rolls, and displays the breakdown along with the final total.
Which notations are accepted?
The expected format is NdS followed by an optional modifier, for example 1d20, 3d8+2, or 4d6-1. The number of dice must be between 1 and 100, and the number of sides must be at least 2.
Are the rolls really random?
Each click on "Roll the dice" uses a new random seed, producing a different result every time, exactly like a real physical dice roll.
