Digital Detox Planner
Set a goal for reducing your daily screen time and get a progressive, week-by-week schedule to reach it gently, plus an estimate of the time you reclaim. Everything is calculated directly in your browser.
How it works
Cutting screen time all at once is rarely sustainable. This tool spreads your reduction goal over several weeks: each week, the target gradually and linearly decreases until you reach the target daily screen time at the end of the plan, making the transition more realistic to stick to.
How is reclaimed time calculated?
The time reclaimed per day is simply the difference between your current screen time and your final goal. This difference is then multiplied by 7 for the weekly estimate, and converted into equivalent days over a year to give a concrete sense of the scale of the change over the long term.
Why a weekly progression rather than a single goal?
Decreasing gradually limits withdrawal effects and increases the chances of sticking to the goal over time, rather than aiming for a sudden drop that's abandoned after a few days. You can adjust the plan duration to make each weekly step more or less ambitious according to your pace.
This tool is purely informational and organizational: it is not medical or psychological advice. If your screen use comes with significant distress or signs of dependence, talk to a healthcare professional.
The calculation and calendar generation are done entirely in your browser: no entered data is sent to a server.
