How it works
A database of 43 countries powers randomly generated multiple-choice questions: either a flag is shown and you must find the matching country, or a country name is shown and you must find its flag among four options.
How are the flags displayed?
The flags use standard Unicode flag emojis, built from the two-letter ISO country code. Their exact appearance may vary slightly depending on your operating system and its emoji font, but they remain recognizable.
Does the question direction change every time?
Yes, each new question randomly picks the direction (flag → country or country → flag), to train you to recognize both in any order.
The list of countries and their flags is embedded directly in the page: no request is sent to a server to generate the quiz.
