GPS Coordinate Grid Generator

Generate a regular grid of GPS points inside a rectangular bounding box, spaced by a defined step in degrees. Limited to 2,500 points to avoid excessively large grids.

Example:

How it works

This tool divides the rectangular area defined by your minimum and maximum latitudes and longitudes into a regular grid, with a point every X degrees (the chosen step), both in latitude and longitude.

Useful for sampling an area (surveys, virtual sensors), generating test points for a map, or building systematic coverage of a region for geographic queries.

100% local processing: generation takes place entirely in your browser via WebAssembly—no data is sent to a server.
