Destination Point Calculator (Bearing & Distance)
Calculate the GPS coordinates of a point reached from a given position, following a bearing (0–360°) over a given distance in kilometers.
How it works
From a starting point, an initial bearing (the angle from north, clockwise) and a distance, this tool projects the arrival point along the great circle corresponding to that bearing—the shortest path on the Earth's surface.
This is the inverse of the bearing calculation: instead of finding the direction between two known points, you find the point reached by following a given direction and distance. Useful for navigation, route planning, or generating test points around an area.
100% local processing: the calculation takes place entirely in your browser via WebAssembly—your coordinates are never sent to a server.
