Multi-Stop CSS Gradient Generator
Compose a CSS gradient with as many color stops as needed, choose its type (linear or radial) and an adjustable angle, and preview it live. The code is computed and displayed entirely in your browser.
How It Works
Beyond two colors, a CSS gradient becomes much richer visually: three or more stops let you create sunset transitions, holographic effects, or modern landing page backgrounds. This tool lets you freely add, position (as a percentage), and remove each color stop, with a real-time preview and the exact CSS code to copy.
What is the difference between a linear and radial gradient?
A linear gradient (linear-gradient) progresses in a straight line at a defined angle, while a radial gradient (radial-gradient) starts from a central point and extends outward in a circle, an effect often used for light halos or circular section backgrounds.
What does a color stop position correspond to?
The position (as a percentage) indicates where in the gradient the color reaches full intensity before starting to blend into the next stop. Moving two stops closer creates a sharper transition between their colors, while spacing them apart produces a smoother fade.
100% local processing: gradient composition and code generation happen directly in your browser, with no data sent anywhere.
