Convert HEIC photos to JPG or PNG
Batch convert your HEIC/HEIF photos (the format used by iPhones) to JPG or PNG, directly compatible with all browsers and software.
How it works
Since iOS 11, the iPhone saves photos by default in the HEIC format, more compact than JPG at equivalent quality. The problem arises when sharing these photos: many websites, order forms, online photo printers or older Windows software simply reject .heic files, or show them as unreadable gray icons. This tool converts your HEIC photos to JPG or PNG in batch, keeping the same image quality, so they're accepted everywhere without any extra adjustment.
Why does my iPhone create HEIC files?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) compresses better than classic JPG: at equal visual quality, files are about half the size, which saves storage space on the device and in iCloud. Apple enabled it by default since iOS 11, but this format remains less universally supported than JPG outside the Apple ecosystem.
How do I force my iPhone to take photos directly in JPG?
Go to Settings, then Camera, then Formats, and select "Most Compatible" instead of "High Efficiency". All photos taken afterward will be saved directly in JPG, without needing to convert them later.
HEIC decoding relies on a WebAssembly module loaded directly in your browser: your photos are never sent to a server or stored anywhere.
