How it works
Comparing a job offer that shows an hourly rate with a position that shows an annual salary is not always straightforward. This tool multiplies (or divides) by the number of hours actually worked in the year — hours per week times weeks worked — to make the two formats directly comparable.
Why specify the number of weeks worked rather than simply 52?
Most employees do not work all 52 weeks of the year: paid vacation, public holidays, and RTT days reduce that number. In France, a full-time employee often works around 47 actual weeks per year. Adjust this value to your situation to get a realistic conversion.
Is the result gross or net?
