ID3 tag editor (batch)
Edit the metadata (title, artist, album, year, genre) of your MP3 files, one at a time or in bulk (for example for an entire album).
How it works
After ripping a CD, a download, or a recovery from an old USB drive, it's not uncommon to end up with MP3s named "Track01.mp3" or with empty or inconsistent artist/album fields: your music player or library then fails to sort them properly. This tool reads the existing ID3 tags of each file, lets you fix them one by one, or apply the same information (artist, album, year, genre) to a whole batch of files with a single click to retag an entire album in one operation, only changing the title case by case.
Can I change the album cover with this tool?
No, not currently: this tool lets you edit the title, artist, album, year and genre, but doesn't read or write the cover image embedded in the MP3 file. To change the cover, you need to use another dedicated audio metadata tool.
Are the tags compatible with iTunes, local Spotify or VLC?
Yes, the ID3 tags written by this tool follow the standard used by almost all audio players (iTunes/Music, VLC, foobar2000, Windows Media Player) as well as by local file imports in Spotify.
100% local processing in your browser (WebAssembly): your MP3 files never leave your device.
