Round badge with border from an image
Crop a photo into a circle and wrap it in a thick colored ring — badge, pin, or avatar style with a colored outline — with fully adjustable ring thickness and color.
How it works
The tool first crops the central square of your photo, draws a solid ring in the chosen color, then cuts out and positions the photo as a circle exactly in the center of that ring. The result — always square, with a transparent background outside the badge — is ready to be used as an avatar, team badge, or digital pin.
What happens if my photo isn't square?
The center crop automatically takes the largest possible square area in the center of the image, which may cut off the left/right or top/bottom of a highly rectangular photo. To keep a specific subject well centered, first crop your photo into a square around that subject before importing it here.
Can I get a very thin ring, like a simple outline?
Yes — lower the ring thickness slider to its minimum value (2%) for a subtle outline around the photo, rather than a wide badge ring. Conversely, a high value (20–25%) gives a very graphic look where the photo occupies a small central disc surrounded by a wide colored ring.
100% local processing: cropping and the ring are generated entirely in your browser via Canvas — your photo is never sent to a server.
