Batch rename images
Import a batch of images and rename them all at once using a custom pattern with counter and date, then download the result bundled in a zip file.
How it works
Renaming dozens of photos one by one before importing them into software or delivering them to a client is tedious. This tool applies a single name pattern to the whole batch: is replaced by an incremented counter (with the number of digits and starting value you choose), and by today's date, with each file's original extension automatically preserved.
Are the images modified or only renamed?
Only the file names change: the images themselves are copied as-is into the archive, without recompression or quality loss. Each photo's visual content remains strictly identical to the original.
What happens if my pattern produces the same name twice?
If the chosen pattern doesn't contain a counter (for example just “photo” without ), the tool automatically detects generated duplicate names and adds an extra numeric suffix to avoid overwriting a file in the archive.
100% local processing: renaming and zip archive creation are performed entirely in your browser — your images are never sent to a server.
