Click a pimple, stain, or small skin imperfection: the tool automatically samples a nearby smooth area and overlays it with a soft blend, like a simplified clone stamp.
How it works
Unlike a classic clone stamp where you choose the source yourself, this tool automatically analyzes eight areas around your click and selects the one with the most homogeneous texture (lowest brightness variance), to avoid accidentally duplicating another imperfection. The source area is then overlaid on the clicked point with a soft edge blend for a natural result.
What if the retouch leaves a visible trace?
Reduce the stamp radius to target the imperfection more precisely without overlapping skin areas with a different texture (shadow, contour), or click slightly to the side again to refine the result: each click is independent and can be repeated.
Does the tool work near the edges of the photo?
If the automatically chosen source area would fall outside the image frame, the tool ignores that direction and selects the best alternative among the other seven. For an imperfection very close to an edge or corner, zoom into your photo first so more usable neighboring areas are available.
