Add a censor bar to an image

Draw one or more opaque bars on an image to censor eyes, a face, or any element you do not want to show before sharing the photo.

Drag and drop an image here, or click to browse (25 MB max).

How it works

The traditional eye-censor bar lets you share a photo while making a person less easily identifiable: draw an opaque rectangle where you want it, using the mouse or your finger, and repeat for every area to cover before generating the final image.

Is black the only possible color for the bar?

No, the bar color is adjustable: black remains the most classic choice for an eye-censor bar, but you can choose any color, including for hiding other elements in a different style (for example white on a light background).

Does the censor bar guarantee total anonymity?

An opaque bar completely hides the pixels it covers in the exported image, so it is not possible to recover what was underneath from the downloaded result. However, make sure you cover a sufficiently wide area: a bar that is too thin or badly positioned can leave details visible at the edges.

100% local processing: the censorship is applied directly in your browser; your image is never sent to a server.
