Replace a color in an image

Replace all occurrences of one color with another, with an adjustable tolerance to cover nearby shades.

Example:
Drag and drop one or more images here (25 MB max each).

How it works

Need to change the color of a logo, an icon, or a flat background without opening a photo editing program? Choose the target color and the replacement color, adjust the tolerance to cover variations due to compression or anti-aliasing, then run the replacement.

What is the tolerance for?

An image rarely contains a single exact color value: anti-aliased edges or JPEG compression create slight variations. The tolerance widens the range of colors considered "identical" to the target color, in order to capture these nearby shades.

What happens if the tolerance is too high?

Too high a tolerance can replace colors you wanted to keep, if they are close to the target color. Start with a low value (10-20) and increase it gradually if some pixels aren't replaced.

100% local processing: the replacement is performed in your browser via our WebAssembly module — your images are never sent to a server.
