Crop a Portrait Centered on the Face (Manual Markers)

Simply click on the center of the face in your photo to indicate where to crop: no automatic detection, you stay in full control of the framing.

How it works

Instead of relying on automatic face detection (sometimes inaccurate on group or profile photos), this tool lets you indicate yourself, with a single click, the exact point around which to center the crop.

Why prefer a manual marker to automatic detection?

A manual marker works on any photo, even profile shots, blurry images, photos with multiple faces, or in unusual lighting conditions where an automatic detection algorithm would fail; you also keep full control if you want to center on a different point than the face.

Can I reposition the marker after a first click?

Yes, simply click elsewhere on the image to move the marker; the crop is only applied when you click the “Crop around the marker” button, so you can adjust as many times as needed before validating.

The crop is calculated entirely in your browser; your photo is neither sent nor stored on a server.
