Multi-Browser Favicon Preview

Upload your favicon and instantly see how it will look in a browser tab, bookmarks bar, Google search result, and mobile home screen shortcut before going live.

Drag and drop an image here, or click to browse (ideally square, 15 MB max).

How It Works

Favicons appear in many different contexts (tab, bookmarks, search results, mobile shortcut) at different sizes and backgrounds, which can reveal issues that are invisible when looking at the image alone (fine details, barely visible white background, etc.). This tool places your image in four realistic simulations to verify its rendering before you publish it.

Why does my favicon look blurry in some previews?

If your source image is small (for example, 32x32 pixels) and is enlarged in a preview (like the 64x64 mobile home screen shortcut), it can appear blurry. Use a source image of at least 180x180 pixels for a sharp result in all contexts.

Does the Google preview exactly reflect real search result display?

This is a realistic simulation based on the layout Google used when this tool was written, but Google may change that layout at any time and sometimes automatically crops non-square favicons: always use a square image to avoid surprises.

100% local processing: previews are generated directly in your browser from the file you select, which is never sent to any server.
