Batch EXIF Metadata Editor
Import several photos to see at a glance how much EXIF metadata they contain (and which ones have a GPS location), then remove it all in one operation and download the cleaned batch as a ZIP.
How It Works
Each imported photo is analyzed to count its EXIF metadata fields (camera, date, settings, GPS...) without ever sending anything to a server. A single click is then enough to re-decode and re-save all the photos in the batch without any metadata, before collecting everything in a ZIP archive.
Does removing metadata affect the visual quality of my photos?
No, only the invisible metadata (text and digital data attached to the file) is removed. The image is re-decoded and re-encoded in the same format, with no visible loss to the eye in the vast majority of cases.
Can I process hundreds of photos at once?
Yes, there is no strict limit on the number of files, but processing happens in your browser's memory: beyond a few dozen large photos, prefer several smaller batches to avoid exhausting the memory of the tab.
100% local processing: metadata analysis and cleaning are done entirely in your browser via WebAssembly — your photos are never sent to a server.
