Neon text on image
Add glowing neon-style text, with an adjustable halo, on a darkened photo or on an automatically generated dark background if you don't upload an image. Choose the text, the neon color and the halo intensity.
How it works
The text is drawn several times with a glowing halo (the canvas `shadowBlur` property) applied around the outlines, then filled with white at the center and recolored with transparency on top. Stacking these layers gives the impression of a lit neon tube, especially visible on a dark background.
Can I use my own photo as the background?
Yes, upload an image: it will be automatically darkened so the neon text stands out more, as if displayed at night on a storefront or a wall. Without an image, a neutral dark gradient is generated instead.
The halo isn't visible enough, what can I do?
Increase the halo intensity slider: the higher the value, the further the glowing blur extends around the text. A larger text size also strengthens the effect, because the halo is proportionally more visible on big characters.
The text and halo rendering is computed entirely in your browser via canvas: no image or typed text is sent to a server.
