Red Eye Correction

Click on each red eye in your photo to correct the effect locally: the clicked area is desaturated and darkened automatically, without automatic face detection.

How It Works

The red-eye effect appears when a camera flash reflects off the retina. Rather than automatically detecting eyes (which often fails on angles or glasses), this tool lets you click precisely on each red pupil: only clearly red pixels in the clicked area are desaturated and darkened, preserving the rest of the eye (white, natural iris) intact.

Why don't some pixels change color after a click?

The correction only applies to pixels where the red component clearly dominates green and blue, which specifically targets the red-eye effect without altering the surrounding skin or the natural iris of the eye.

Can I undo a correction if I click in the wrong place?

Reload the photo (or the example) to start over from the original image if a correction doesn't look right; clicks apply directly to the displayed preview, and there's no dedicated 'undo' function for now.

100% local processing: the correction is calculated entirely in your browser; your photo is neither uploaded nor stored on a server.
