Resize an Image by Percentage
Reduce or enlarge one or more images by simply entering a percentage of their original size, without having to calculate the exact pixel dimensions yourself.
How It Works
Instead of guessing exact pixel dimensions, it's often simpler to think in percentages: 'reduce by half', 'enlarge by 150%'. The tool first reads each image's actual dimensions, calculates the target width and height proportionally to the chosen percentage, then resizes using a Lanczos3 filter that preserves sharpness even when reducing.
Is the aspect ratio preserved?
Yes, always: the same percentage is applied to both width and height, so each image's original aspect ratio stays identical, with no distortion.
Can I enlarge an image beyond 100%?
Yes, up to 500%, but keep in mind that enlarging an image beyond its original resolution doesn't create extra detail: the result will be smoothed but never sharper than the original. For quality enlargement, stick to moderate factors (150-200%).
100% local processing: the resizing is done entirely in your browser via WebAssembly — your images are never sent to a server.
