Turn a Photo into a Clean Scanned Document

Position your document's 4 corners on the photo to correct perspective, apply a scanner filter, then let the tool automatically crop the white edges: the result looks like a real scan, without a printer or dedicated app.

How It Works

After positioning the document's 4 corners on the photo (even if it was taken sideways or at an angle), the tool calculates a perspective transform (homography) that straightens the document into a proper rectangle, then applies a scanner filter and automatically crops any remaining white margins.

What happens if my 4 points aren't perfectly accurate?

The result stays largely straightened even with approximate positioning, but poorly placed corners can slightly distort the document or cut off an edge. Zoom in on the document's actual corners before placing each point for the best result.

Can the tool correct a photo taken at a very sharp angle?

Yes, to a certain extent: the perspective transform handles pronounced shooting angles as long as the document's 4 corners remain visible and identifiable in the photo. However, an extreme angle can cause some loss of sharpness in the areas most stretched by the correction.

100% local processing: the perspective correction and filtering are done entirely in your browser; your document is never sent to a server.
