Add speech bubbles to an image

Add speech or thought bubbles with your text on an image, then position them by dragging and dropping directly on the preview. Handy for memes, comic strips, or annotated screenshots.

Drag and drop an image here, or click to browse (25 MB max).

How it works

Choose a bubble shape (round speech, oval, or thought), its tail direction, its colors, and the text size, then click on the image where you want it to appear with the entered text. The text automatically wraps across multiple lines if needed to fit within the bubble.

Can I resize a bubble after placing it?

The bubble size automatically adapts to the length of the text entered at the time it is created, but it cannot be resized manually afterward. For a larger or smaller bubble, adjust the text size before clicking to place it.

What's the difference between a speech bubble and a thought bubble?

The classic speech bubble (round or oval) ends with a triangular tail, as if the character is speaking. The thought bubble ends with a series of small decreasing circles, a universal visual convention to represent a thought rather than spoken words.
