Split an image into a grid

Split a photo into a grid of X columns by Y rows to get individual tiles, downloadable one by one or all together in a ZIP archive.

PNG, JPG, or WebP

How it works

This tool divides your source image into a regular grid of X columns by Y rows, without prior resizing or cropping: each tile keeps the native resolution corresponding to its portion of the original image. You can download each tile individually or get the whole set in a ZIP archive.

What is the spacing between tiles for?

If you specify a spacing value, that band of pixels is removed between each tile (useful if the source image already contains a grid or visual frame you don't want to keep). Leave it at 0 to split the image without losing anything.

Are all the tiles the same size?

Yes, the image is divided into equally sized cells calculated automatically from its width, height, and the chosen number of columns and rows. If the division doesn't come out even, slight pixel rounding may appear at the edges.

The split is done entirely in your browser: your image is never sent to a server, including during ZIP creation.
