Numeric JSON array statistics
Paste a JSON array of numbers to instantly get the count, sum, minimum, maximum, mean and standard deviation. 100% local processing in your browser (WebAssembly) — nothing is sent to a server.
How it works
Handy for quickly analyzing a series of measurements, prices or results from an API or a JSON export, without opening a spreadsheet or writing a script. Paste the JSON array of numbers and click "Calculate statistics" to get a complete summary in an instant.
What happens if the array contains non-numeric values?
Elements that are not numbers (strings, objects, booleans, null) are silently ignored: only numeric values are used in the calculation. If no numeric value is found, an error message is displayed.
How is the standard deviation calculated?
It is the population standard deviation (not the sample one): the square root of the mean of the squared deviations from the mean. It measures how spread out the values are around the mean — the higher it is, the more dispersed the values.
100% local processing: the calculation runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly — your data never leaves your device.
