Validate JSON-LD
Paste a JSON-LD structured data snippet (schema.org) to check that it is syntactically valid and contains the essential @context and @type keys.
How it works
JSON-LD is the format Google recommends for embedding structured data (schema.org) in a web page, in order to get rich results (rich snippets) in search results. This tool checks that the JSON is syntactically correct and that the two essential keys, @context and @type, are present, before you paste it into a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag.
Why doesn't my JSON-LD show up in Google's Rich Results Test?
The most common cause is a JSON syntax error (an extra comma, unclosed quotes) or a missing @type key, which tells Google what type of entity (Article, Product, Organization...) is being described. This tool detects both problems before you even test the page in production.
What should I put in @context?
In the vast majority of cases, the expected value is exactly https://schema.org. Another URL starting with http is technically valid but unusual; a value that is not a URL is almost always a mistake.
100% local processing: your JSON-LD snippet is never sent to a server, and all validation happens in your browser.
