How it works
In numerology, the life path number is considered one of the most important numbers in a numerology chart: it is said to reveal the major tendencies and lessons of a person's life. It is calculated by adding up all the digits of the full birth date (day, month, year), then reducing the result to a single digit between 1 and 9, unless the calculation lands on a "master number" (11, 22 or 33).
Why aren't some numbers (11, 22, 33) reduced any further?
In traditional numerology, 11, 22 and 33 are considered "master numbers": they are left as they are instead of adding their digits together again (for example 2+2 to get 4), because they are believed to carry a more intense symbolic meaning than their reduced equivalent.
Does this calculation have any scientific value?
No. Numerology is a divination practice with no recognized scientific basis. This tool faithfully reproduces the traditional calculation method for entertainment or curiosity, but its result should not be taken as a reliable prediction or life advice.
