LinkedIn share preview simulator
Enter the title, description and image planned for your page to see what the share card will look like when a link to that page is posted on LinkedIn.
Preview in the LinkedIn feed
How it works
Like other social networks, LinkedIn reads the Open Graph tags (og:title, og:description, og:image) of the shared page to build a preview card in the feed. However, LinkedIn doesn't always display the description, and it truncates the title beyond a certain length. This tool simulates that rendering from the values you enter, without having to actually post the link to test it.
Why doesn't LinkedIn show the description in my real preview?
LinkedIn has gradually reduced how often the description is shown across many post formats, favoring the title and a large image. The description is still worth writing, since it can appear depending on the context (sharing in a comment, certain post types), and its content also affects the text read by accessibility tools.
Why does my real LinkedIn preview differ from the simulation?
LinkedIn caches the Open Graph tags of a URL the first time it is shared and can take a while to refresh them after a change. Use LinkedIn's official "Post Inspector" tool to force a new scan of your page after updating your tags.
Privacy: no real preview is fetched from LinkedIn — only the values you enter are used, entirely in your browser.
