Make a logo background transparent

Import a logo on a solid background: the tool automatically detects the color of its four corners and makes it transparent, so you don't have to pick the exact background color yourself.

Example:
Drag and drop a logo here, or click to browse (15 MB max).

How it works

The tool samples a small square of pixels in each of the image's four corners and calculates their average color, assuming these corners belong to the background (and not to the logo itself, which is usually centered). It then makes every pixel close to that average color transparent across the whole image.

What if my logo touches all four corners of the image?

If the logo fills the whole frame with no margin, automatic detection may rely on part of the logo rather than the real background. Crop the image to leave a small margin of visible background around the logo, or use the "magic wand" tool to pick the color to target yourself by clicking on it.

Does this tool work with a logo on a gradient or textured background?

It is optimized for perfectly solid backgrounds, like most company logos. On a gradient or textured background, only the part close to the corners' average color will be made transparent, and the result will likely be incomplete.

100% local processing: color detection and transparency are calculated entirely in your browser — your logo is never sent to a server.
