How it works
Choose the operation, the number range (for example 1 to 20) and the number of exercises you want: a list of random problems is generated instantly. The "Show answer key" checkbox lets you switch between the blank version to hand out and the answer version for the teacher or parent.
How are division problems generated so they come out even?
To avoid decimal results, the tool first picks a whole-number divisor and quotient within the chosen range, then calculates the dividend as their product: the division problem you get therefore always has an exact whole-number result.
Can I generate several different worksheets on the same topic?
Yes, click "Generate worksheet" again to get a new set of random exercises with the same settings, which is useful for offering several versions of the same test or for repeated practice.
