Merge multiple WAV audio files

Join several WAV files end to end, in the order you choose, into a single continuous file. All files must have the same sample rate, the same number of channels and the same sample depth.

Example:
Drag and drop your .wav files here, or click to add them (100 MB max each).

How it works

Handy for joining several audio takes into one continuous file: combining interview segments recorded separately, stringing voice messages together, or rebuilding a meeting recording that was split into several pieces. Import your WAV files, reorder them with the up/down arrows if needed, then click "Merge" to get a single downloadable file, in the order shown.

Why do my files need to have the same characteristics?

A WAV file encodes its samples at a specific sample rate, number of channels and bit depth. Directly joining samples from files with different characteristics would produce an unusable result (incorrect playback speed, distortion): the tool therefore checks that all files match before merging them, and otherwise shows a clear error naming the offending file.

Can I change the order of the files before merging?

Yes. Each file you add appears in a list with "↑" and "↓" buttons that let you move it up or down; the order shown in the list is the one used for the final merge.

Privacy: the merge runs 100% locally in your browser via WebAssembly — your recordings never pass through a server.
