Mock API Response Generator

Describe a simple schema (field name → type) and get a matching mock JSON response — handy for mocking up a frontend before the real API is ready.

Example:
Available types: string, number, boolean, uuid, date, email, name

How it works

You provide a JSON object where each key is a field name and each value a simple type ("string", "number", "boolean", "uuid", "date", "email", or "name"). The tool then generates a mock value suited to each type, producing a JSON response ready to paste into an API mock or a test fixtures file.

Which types are supported?

"string" (generic text), "number" (random number), "boolean" (true/false), "uuid" (unique identifier), "date" (date in YYYY-MM-DD format), "email" (mock address), and "name" (mock person name). Any other type produces the value "unknown value".

Can I use this tool for automated tests?

Yes, the JSON output can be copied directly into a fixtures file or a server mock to simulate the expected response structure of a real API.

100% local processing: generation happens entirely in your browser via WebAssembly, with no data sent to a server.
