Score: 0 / 0

How it works

A random set of euro coins and bills is generated based on the difficulty level you pick. Add up all the displayed values in your head (or on paper), enter the total in euros, then check your answer.

Why are amounts calculated in cents internally?

Calculations are done in cents (whole numbers) before being converted to euros for display. This avoids the rounding errors that come with decimal numbers in JavaScript and guarantees a total that is always exact to the cent.

Which coins and bills are used?

The tool uses the official eurozone denominations: coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents as well as €1 and €2, and bills from €5 to €50 depending on the level you pick (the €100, €200 and €500 bills are deliberately not used, as they are no longer in everyday circulation).
