How it works
The blank grid shows the numbers from 1 to N as row and column headers: it's up to you to fill each cell with the matching product. It's a classic exercise for memorizing multiplication tables visually and across the board, rather than one table at a time.
How do I check my answers after filling in the grid?
Tick the "Show answers" box to reveal the complete answer key on screen, or print the empty grid first, do the exercise on paper, then come back, tick the box and print the answer key a second time to compare.
Which grid size should I choose?
A 10×10 grid covers the tables from 1 to 10, enough for most elementary school curricula. A 12×12 grid also lets you review the 11 and 12 tables, which are often useful for more advanced mental math.
The grid is generated locally in your browser, with no data sent to a server.
