Edit PDF bookmarks
Replace the list of bookmarks (the table of contents shown in a PDF reader's side panel) with your own list of titles pointing to the pages of your choice. 100% local processing in your browser.
How it works
This tool first displays the bookmarks already in the PDF for reference, then builds a brand-new list of bookmarks from the titles and page numbers you enter, completely replacing the old one. Each bookmark becomes clickable in a PDF reader's side panel and jumps straight to the specified page.
Can I create nested sub-bookmarks (hierarchy)?
No, this version of the tool only creates a flat list of bookmarks, all at the same level. Creating a multi-level hierarchy (chapters and then subsections) requires a more advanced PDF tool.
Are the old bookmarks really replaced, or are the new ones added to them?
They are replaced entirely: the new list you define becomes the document's only bookmark table. If you want to keep some of the original bookmarks, copy them manually into the form before applying.
100% local processing: bookmarks are read and rebuilt entirely in your browser — your document is never sent to a server.
