How it works
Each line entered in the "label, amount" format becomes a row in the income or expense table. The tool automatically adds up the recognized amounts to show the total for each section and the month's balance, while leaving blank rows so you can pen in unexpected expenses.
What happens if I forget to enter an amount?
The line still appears in the table with an empty "Amount" column, but it isn't counted in the total: always separate the label and the amount with a comma, for example Groceries, 350.
Does the balance count savings as an expense?
Yes, if you enter it as an expense line (for example Savings, 200), which matches the "pay yourself first" approach recommended in personal budgeting.
Your income and expenses stay strictly local: no amount entered here ever leaves your browser.
