How it works
The tool repeats the same business card (standard 85 x 55 mm size) in a grid centered on an A4 page, with a small gap between cards to make cutting with scissors or a paper trimmer easier. The name appears in bold at the top, followed by the job title, the company and then the contact details.
What are crop marks for?
Crop marks are small guide lines drawn just outside each corner of a card. They show exactly where to cut without cutting into the card's content, which is especially useful if you cut by hand rather than with a calibrated professional trimmer.
Why choose 8 cards instead of 10 per page?
With 8 cards, each card has a bit more margin around it, which makes hand cutting easier and lowers the risk of cutting into a neighboring card. The 10-card layout makes the most of the paper and suits a paper trimmer or professional printing on a pre-cut sheet.
Can I print on thick cardstock?
Yes, the PDF has no paper constraints: you can print it on cardstock (250 to 350 gsm) if your printer supports it, which gives a result closer to a real business card than standard paper.
