Create PDF chapter divider pages

Automatically insert a title page before each chapter of a PDF, from a simple "page number: title" list — handy for turning a manuscript or a collection of documents into a structured book with real divider pages.

The page number indicates before which page (numbered in the original document) the title page should be inserted.

How it works

Each line you enter describes a divider page: the page number (in the original document) where it should appear, and the title to display, centered, on that new page. Insertions are made from the end of the document toward the beginning, so the page numbers you entered stay valid even after earlier pages have been added.

What happens if I enter a page number that is out of range?

The tool refuses to generate and shows a specific error message if a page number is below 1 or above the document's page count plus one (which allows adding a title page after the very last page).

Can I insert several divider pages at the same spot?

Yes, enter several lines with the same page number: they will be inserted one after another at that position, in the order they appear in the list.

The title pages are generated and inserted entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library — your document is never sent to a server.
