PDF coloring page from a photo
Turn a photo into a coloring page: the outlines of the image are detected automatically and converted into a black-and-white drawing ready to print and color in.
How it works
The tool applies an edge detector (the Sobel operator) to your photo: high-contrast areas (the edges of shapes) become black lines, and the rest of the image turns white, like a hand-drawn coloring page.
What kind of photo gives the best result?
Photos with a single, well-lit subject that contrasts with the background (a portrait, an object, an animal) give clean outlines. Highly textured or low-contrast photos can produce a busier result with more lines.
Can I adjust the detection sensitivity?
No, the detection uses a fixed setting tuned to give a usable result in most cases. If the result is too busy, try a less textured photo or one with a plainer background.
100% local processing: edge detection runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly — your photo is never sent to a server.
